Casa Nueva is an excellent holiday home in two floors with a nice glass entrance and with private pool, situated in natural surroundings in walking distance from one of Central Catalonias many charming villages. Here, you can enjoy your own private spaces and view, and also follow the rural life on the property.
You enter the house from the front of a beautifully made entrance. Previously it was common to have the animals in the ground floor of the house, but this area is now in an amazing way transformed into two suites with master double beds and ensuite bathrooms, all in a modern interior design.
On the first floor, the house is kept in the traditional style, but with high quality in any aspect. Here, you find a living room, a dining room, the kitchen and 5 more rooms, sharing 3 bathrooms.
Around the corner, there is a covered terrace with a big table for dining and a barbecue. On the other side of the house, you find the swimming pool and a garden with lawn. There is a direct door from the house to the garden, so you will not have to walk around the house. From the beach chairs you have an excellent view over the fields and with the Pyrenees in the background. The entrance to the pool area is closed by a gate to protect small children.
The house is situated on a slope, and facing the landscape, so if you walk down, you will get to the small river and a path on to the next village, which is a longer walk of about 4 km.
On the other side of the house where you park the cars, they have redesigned two former enclosures, previously used for storage of food for the animals, to a basket field and a mini-football fields and in the building next to the house, they have made a hall for celebration and a new game room with table football and table tennis. Also, for family-entertainment, they have made orientation marks around the property, so you can have a bit of excersise and fun if you want. Anna will explain you how it works by arrival.
On this side of the house, it is also possible to follow the life on a farm, as Josep has his animals not far way. He is a very kind man, and the children a very welcome to visit. To get to the village, they have marked a walking path, so you can walk there in 10 minutes without having to follow the road for cars. Here, there is bakery, greenshop, restaurant and a bar with Internet.

Trip to Barcelona or rent a holiday apartment before or after
During your stay in Catalonia, it is obvious to make a trip to the metropolis Barcelona. It takes from most houses only 1-1½ hours to drive in to the Catalan capitol know for Gaudi, Miró, The Ramblas, the Gothic neighbourhood, F.C. Barcelona, the beach and many other things. The previous summers, many of our guests have chosen to rent a holiday apartment in Barcelona before our after their stay in the beautiful Catalan countryside.
