Casa Vinas Grandes - Bajo is the lower floor of Casa Vinas Grandes. The home has a capacity for 10 guests. Casa Vinas Grandes is situated in peaceful and green surroundings in a valley in the Osona region between the Pyrenees and Barcelona. It is an authentic Catalan house, with loads of Catalan country charm. There are no nearby neighbours and around the house, only green surroundings and plenty of space. The large grounds have several nice spots in the sun or in the shade, where you can relax and take in the beautiful surroundings.
In front of the house, you will find a lovely courtyard with a barbecue - a great spot for outside dining. The swimming pool area is situated by the side of the house, and has an impressive size of 9 x 8 meters. Instead of building a traditional swimming pool, Joan and Alicia decided to make a swimming pool, which to a greater extend matches the house and the history. Therefore, the swimming pool has been made with rocks and with a small fountain circulating the water.
On the lower floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, a nice living room with TV and fireplace and an activity room with table tennis. There are four bedrooms sharing two bathrooms. There are two double room and two triple rooms, with the possibility of having two extra beds set up.
The surroundings are perfect for walks or excursions on mountain bikes (we can help with rental) and it is also easy to visit the regional capital Vic with its well known market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. You can also visit Barcelona or just drop down to the local bakery in the village for fresh croissants for the breakfast.
