This fantastic and very exclusive mansion - Castell Borador - is a very uncommon and elite holiday home. Situated quietly, partly shadowed by a grove and with the bank of El Manol river just below the house, the location is ideal for a relaxed vacation in breathtaking surroundings.
The house is a private holiday home, in the winter used by the owner, a gentleman from Barcelona, but in the summertime let out publicly.
The house's 400m2, gives you disposal of 5 very large bedrooms at first floor, all with bathrooms ensuite. At the ground floor, a 6th bedroom makes the total capacity 12 persons. Due to its uniqueness, the house has been displayed in home design magazine. Pets are not allowed in the house.
From the entrance of the house, you get to the hall with the broad stairway to the first floor in front of you, the office to the left and an aisle to the big double ensuite living room and on to the very big, open kitchen with all modern commodities, for instance dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, stove, fridge and freezer. In the living rooms you find a dining table, sofas and tv-set with DVD. Also, there is a computer with internet access. From the kitchen, you have direct access to terrace, from where you can enter the large pool-area. Inside from the entrance, there is a bathroom with bathtub with hydro massage.
Coming up the mansion-style stairway, on the first floor you get to a big hall, serving as entrance to the four different rooms. Each room is between 30 and 40m2, three of them have double beds and the fourth has two single beds. Each room has modern bathrooms inside, and three of them with bathtubs with hydro massage. From each room, you have an excellent view over respectively the pool-area, the nearby fields and the grove.
The exterior facilities are just as extensive. On the front of the house, the limestone wall surrounds the pool area. The swimming pool is 10 x 5 metres, and after a refreshing swim, you can dry in one of the beach chairs. On the east-side of the house, you find the terrace with terrace table, chairs and parasols; Big enough for the entire group to eat together. On south side of the house, there is a lawn and a path leading down to the river. It is possible to take a swim in the river as well.

During your stay in Catalonia, it is obvious to make a trip to the metropolis Barcelona. It takes from most houses only 1-1½ hours to drive in to the Catalan capitol know for Gaudi, Miró, The Ramblas, the Gothic neighbourhood, F.C. Barcelona, the beach and many other things. The previous summers, many of our guests have chosen to rent a holiday apartment in Barcelona before our after their stay in the beautiful Catalan countryside.
