Casa Chavier is very idyllically located on the top of a hill in the beautiful landscape. The holiday home, which has room for eight people, is equipped with the facilities and location to set the base for a wonderful and peaceful holiday in the middle of central Catalonia. There is a swimming pool, a large common room on the ground floor and spacious double rooms, where you can retreat and be at peace. There is only 3 km to the cozy village Montmajor.
The outdoor area fits the Catalan summer weather perfectly - you can stay outside all the time. Cool off and relax in the pool that has a size of 41 m2, which also has a small 'paddling area' where the very young children in a holiday group can enjoy the water. When it is noon and the sun is very high in the sky, it is great to relax on the covered terrace. Here is also a small outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill and a sink, where you can prepare the evening meal. This is possible in the late evenings as the Catalan summer evenings are warm and long lasting.
The ground floor is very typical Catalan: There is a large common room where the whole holiday group can be together. There is a cozy sitting area with a fireplace, and in the back there is a dining table with bench and chairs. In connection with this, there is a very neat and tidy kitchen. There is also a toilet on this ground floor, .
From the common room, a staircase leads to the first floor where the bedrooms of the holiday house are located. There are four bedrooms - all with double beds and good space. Several rooms have views of the surrounding countryside. Additionally, there is a bathroom for each bedroom; two of them are connected (en suite). The bathrooms are modern and in good quality.
In the backyard, you can play table tennis or football.
Just 3 km from Casa Chavier is the pleasant and authentic village Montmajor, which has a cozy café, a sausage maker, grocery store and a weekly market. The village is worth a visit if you are interested in experiencing the rural Catalan atmosphere.
3 km in a different direction, there is an utterly charming restaurant, built in an old monastery - highly recommended for a visit.
